I have to brag on this salve...like BIG! Everything from the look of it to the smell of it to the power of it! When I created this beautiful deep blue/green salve my hope was that it would effectively help my husband who has chronic back pain and tight neck and shoulders. I chose Olive oil as the base of this salve because Olive Oil is rich in a compound called "oleocanthal" that works like ibuprofen
on pain. It also has lubricin, which helps to keep joints working smoothly. I infused it with hempseed* which will help to release tension and tightness in muscles. Mugwort not only loves on muscles and joints by increasing warmth and circulation but it is mildly stimulating to the nervous system, reducing tension, producing circulation and providing nutrition in the nerves.
